I really wanna get into the silent hill games. they look cool
I started with Shattered Memory on the PS2, as my partner recommended it as a decent starter SH game. I am working my (slow) way through Origins (PSP) now, but agree-the lore and atmosphere seem SUPER intriguing.
Also i'm soooooo jealous of you for having SM on the PS2 as that version of the game is like crazy expensive now(same with Origins on PS2). Definitely recommend checking out 2-4, Homecoming and Downpour as well. You can skip the original PS1 game though as it hasn't aged very well and SM pretty much already told the definitive version of that story(though I wouldn't be opposed to the first game getting a full on remake like 2 did).
