I already found him a couple of days ago and contacted him on his email, I was planning to tell you when he responds, anyways i theorize since the commercials were on December 10 of 2009 which was the same day as the premiere of SM 3 on FX according to this site: fxschedules.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Movies_and_Specials/FX he may have the airing? But I don't have that much hope since he said in the description that these commercials aired during some other show
Looks like someone has been posting a lot about this airing on Reddit. Is this one of you guys?
I was going to post on r/LostMedia but I need to wait 20 more days for the Reddit account I created for this lost media to be "old enough" to make a post on there, so I'll probably just post it on my other Reddit profile today
A fan asks "Could Doctor Wallace have any chance of showing up in the movie, pacing reasons aside, or is there missing VFX or footage that prevents him from showing up seamlessly, or even at all, in the movie's plot?"
The editor, Bob Murawski, replies: "This requires a lot of missing VFX of sand blowing through the ducts."
Of course, he could be mistaken. But I think it is much more likely that the people who remember seeing this on FX are just misremembering. Especially since the 2010 recording does not have the scene in it (According to the reconstruction video it would have taken place at 1:40:42 in that recording). That being said, we won't know for sure until we find a recording of the 2009 airing. Even if there's not any deleted scenes it would still be cool to find.

I think we could argue that even if most of the VFX was missing from that part of the scene, it is not really essential to the scene as a whole, even without some unfinished shots of sand blowing through the ducts it could still function and make sense, but anyway I agree we can't be 100% sure about anything until we find the airing, so hopefully we find it soon.

exactly, maybe fx showed the scene but obviously there wasn't a lot of sand blowing through the ducts as bob said about the missing vfx but the scene will still function because the point of the scene wasn't about the sand blowing through the ducts, that 2009 airing is still running me mad, can't believe there's no trace of it on the Internet

also the adrian lester the actor for dr wallace confirmed that the reason why he wasn't in the movie was because raimi told him that the movie was clocking near 3 hours so i think we should believe him over bob murawski, not sure bob knows everything that went down

yeah we're sure!it's a lost deleted scene just like the other lost deleted scenes that didn't make it either, the actor for dr.wallace said the scene didn't make it because raimi told him the original cut was clocking nearly 3 hours.
Are we sure that this Dr. Wallace scene didn’t pop up in any other release?
Yes, we only have stock footage from the scene, along with a shot of them talking and Dr. Wallace being thrown against the wall, but other than that the scene hasn't seen the light of day yet.
