I'm making this post for a friend who always told me about a screamer he saw on youtube back in the day. I'm going to give my best description in hope that maybe someone remembers this. He gave me some description of it and I'm going to tell you all I know. Also, if I have posted in the wrong category and this gets deleted, that's understandable. This is my first post so if I'm in the wrong place, let me know please!
- The video was a screen recording, IE unregistered hypercam/bandicam type stuff.
- The video took place in the painting room where Cool Cool Mountain is. There are three paintings in this room, and Mario is standing in the corner between the middle and right paintings specifically.
- The video apparently ends with Mario standing in that spot for a few seconds, as if it's a 'did you see it?' moment, just to cut to a picture of a screamer. My friend described the photo as a man on a wheeled hospital stretcher, possibly in black and white.
- My friend is sure the video has Mario entering the room to Cool Cool Mountain, as in the video doesn't start in there. The only door to Cool Cool Mountain is in the main castle lobby, so it's safe to assume a portion of the video is in there. This point is absolutely minor, but I'm adding whatever I can.
- IMPORTANT: This video is NOT the lost Mario 64 screamer that got a bit of traction a while back, the 'Big Star Secret' screamer. I showed him some info and the partially found video of a kid reacting to it, and my friend says that it's not it. This is a different screamer, likely obscure.
- Addendum: My friend saw this video likely around 2010, meaning the video was uploaded before/around then, and very well might be deleted. He is also adamant the video was in Mario 64, and not in the DS remake.
If you can give me any info on this video, be it a personal account, a dead link/possible account who made this through archives, or even the video itself, please let me know. I would love nothing more than to snoop out this lost video and give my friend some closure. I'm going to do some searching myself and will update this thread if my friend can confirm stuff/add more info. Please, share this in your groups who may know, ask around, etc.
