Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to the community for help in tracking down some elusive lost media from around 2009. Skechers, the well-known shoe company, ran a marketing campaign targeting children that featured superhero mascots. These mascots included "Z-Strap," "Kewl Breeze," "Elastika," and "The Luminators." The campaign was quite comprehensive, including in-store displays, merchandise, and even animated commercials.
One of the key elements of this campaign was the comic books that came with the children's shoes. These comics featured the superhero mascots in various adventures and were included with the purchase of Skechers shoes. Despite their initial popularity, it appears that almost all of these comic books have since become lost media. There is very little documentation available online, and the comics themselves are not available for sale or in any digital format.
We do have the covers of these comics, which prove their existence, but beyond that, information is scarce. We are seeking any information, scans, or physical copies of these comic books. If anyone has any leads, memories, or knows where these might be found, your help would be greatly appreciated.
