I remember seeing ads for that game and I regret not buying it back then with how pricey it is now.
Yeah my younger sib brought it back from Blockbuster, I thought it looked dumb, but still gave it a try, and NEVER looked back. I still have my original copy! And I imagine it can get really pricey since it has never been....you know...ported to anything else. There was a planned computer version at some point but it got canned <_<
I'm honestly curious on if this game started being planned out during the late Dreamcast era & perhaps it was originally planned for that console before switching to the Gamecube.

A key memory unlocked! I remember really liking the game at a younger age, but I think I tried to play it again at an older age and...I don't think it held up. Either in terms of humor or gameplay (for me, personally). It was just like 1 out of the 5 games I would likely get that year for bday/xmas gifts, so I "forced" myself to like it. That said, it has been a hot minute since I touched the game, so maybe I would have a different opinion now if I gave it another playthrough.

The game doesn't look all that good, but I do love the humor & the music is actually quite good! I do consider getting it someday, hopefully for at least a decent price. I know Nitro Rad didn't like it, but honestly this feels like the kind of game I would enjoy. I like bizarre madness games like this one & Slamscape.

Speaking of Pokemon, I sadly don't see Pokemon Colosseum or XD :Gale of Darkness getting ported/remade seeing as neither game has gotten a rerelease and it's been over 15 years. Nintendo and/or The Pokemon Company/Creatures Inc seem almost "embarrassed" of their existence TBH. Add in the poor reception of the Wii game Battle Dimensions and yeah.
For Sonic the Hedgehog i'll be surprised if any Sonic games after SA2 and before Colors get a re-release of any kind. Supposedly there's a remake of Heroes coming but i've not heard much beyond speculation at this point.
Also not expecting to see a re-release of Sonic Shuffle since that one was made by Hudson Soft and with them mostly doing Mario Party stuff now I don't see them prioritizing a re-release of that game.
