Also another "Enter the Dragonfly" one I just have to share: that tank minigame from Honey Marshes. Like, thank god I was consulting a guide which informed me that if I didn't reach the honey river by ___ time, I should just restart the whole thing. Saved major time that way!
BUT it's just a broken mess-the enemy AI is garbage (and they were way too fast for me), shooting is a pain, aiming sucks, and the time limit makes it SUPER tight to actually win.
Did you play the original PS2 release or the Gamecube version(which is way less bug-ridden)? Cause I played the Gamecube version and didn't have too much trouble with that part.
Speaking of Spyro though i hated the damn twin fire dragon boss in the Reignited Trilogy as he keeps constantly repairing himself and it's damn hard to chase him down and attack him consistently.
Gamecube. And I STILL found it a huge pain. On the other hand, the Caddicarus meme of "PROTECT/DEFEND THE PUFFY PALACE?" Never actually had any troubles with that one, and didn't really get what was so hard about it. I just blasted away like crazy nonstop and won. That volcano slide actually wasn't the worst, and that one seems to get people, along with other slides in the Spyro games. In fact, slides in general haven't really given me the same trouble others have experienced.
Yeah I SWEAR that twin dragon challenge was harder on the Reignited Trilogy! Or I lost my brilliant younger brain skills. Or both. LOL.

That one didn't cause me any problems either. It's not just you, I heard others say the Twin Dragons were made harder on the remake. Never played the original Spyro 3 but having watched a playthrough of it it definitely looks like they upped the difficulty.
Speaking of Toys for Bob it was a real pain getting all of the platinum relics in Crash 4. Took me like a month to fully complete that game.
Best Beating Yoshis Island DS as a kid, it was my first true video game that I owned and I was so happy. The experience gave me a new lifelong love of Nintendo and Yoshi. Beating Kirby Superstar and Ultra was a similar experience for me since I bought both versions after playing Ultra as a Blockbuster game. Though as a kid I thought the ending meant it was all Kirbys dream, though Marx was so cool as a boss I didnt care. Super Mario 64 DS, I was obsessed with it since I never played a 3D platformer before. I played it over and over trying to get more stars and finding faster ways to beat the levels. Playing through Smash Brawl's single player mode. I loved it even though I had no idea who half the characters were and ended up making up headcanons for each one based on the story lol. Some I remember include Pikmin being crayons, Lucas and Claus being brothers in an apocalypse where children were turned into robots, and Pit being Mario's guardian angel. Beating Paper Mario 64, soo underrated.
Worst Yoshis NEW Island was sooo disappointing. I was really hopeful for it but got disappointed. I also remember feeling meh about Paper Mario sticker star, I don't think I got further than the wood world with the giant wiggler. Pokemon Shield might be the laziest made game I've ever played. Everything from the story to the pokemon themselves felt half baked. I was really disappointed by Kirby and the Forgotten Land, idk why but something about the gameplay just didn't gel with me like past games did. I almost forgot to list it, it was that forgettable to me.
