The obscurity in Japan is almost certainly because this was aired on satellite in Japan rather than through conventional terrestrial television.
Really begs the question as to how it was even dubbed in so many languages in the first place. 4kids only really went for popular Japanese properties (pokemon, yugioh, etc). Hm. Also how’d you find that out?

Wait! I lied! I was viewing it on mobile, didn't work there! I'm on my laptop and it works now. But there do appear to have been listings of a VHS release! Maybe if we find someone who has it, we can find it

Also, I have ordered the second volume of the manga. I plan to get a scanner or at least a scanning app on my phone to scan the pages, as thats lost as well. I haven't had much luck with finding the first volume though.

Nice find! Hope that the process goes well! Good luck!
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime

And also Smeshariki (GoGoRiki) from Russia, which still has a handful a lost episodes from the 4kids dub.
Yeah... speaking of that, season 1 of the 4kids dub was found pretty recently. 4kids has a lot of interesting lost media i think, like the 39 lost episodes of falcon densetsu and the lost episodes of tama and friends. Hell, Fighting Foodons was partially lost until Discotek gave it a rerelease

If anyone cares, the manga of this (also lost) is currently shipping! It’ll be here in maybe 2 weeks, given Buyee standards, buts it’s only volume 2. Let’s hope I find volume 1 soon, I remember seeing some small scans around but the guy stopped scanning em somewhere around page 20

4kids only made 26 F-Zero eps total.
Oh really? But still, it really makes me wonder what they were like, especially because episode 21 has a bunch of crossdressing in it lol

There's a Hungarian dub based on the 4kids version. Hungarians that watched it say they only aired 26 episodes total. Out of those 26 produced episodes, the cross dressing one was apparently cut/skipped/ not dubbed.
