So they were the little plastic toys that were babies but if you pushed the dummy/pacifier it would talk or sing (can't remember which) rest of what I remember I'll do in bullet points
*I'm from UK so they may not be anywhere else
* They were plastic toys which where hand sized, they had bag clips on the top which were usually the same colour as the characters hair or hat
* Said clips were a different type of plastic rather than like a metal key ring thing
* The babies had the own style personality. I had a blue biker one which was a boy had blue hair or hat, sunglasses and a leather jacket. We also had a girl one with a green ponytail.
* This would've been late 90s early 00s
* Unfortunately the shop we got them from I'm 99% sure was either the bingo hall in my town or the corner shop next door so something that wasn't in other towns I guess
* They came in a box which has the toy on front. They went in a clear plastic bag inside the box iirc but coulve maybe been foil bag with branding
* A few years ago I found one on eBay but it was in a job lot of toys and the seller didn't know what it was, nor did Reddit when I asked but if I can find the post I made about it I'll link in the comments so you can physically see the type of thing I mean
I think I found jackpot. I used Google Lens to drum up similar ebay listings, and the term "Tagga Boys" kept popping up. Many of the ebay listings are for smaller versions without the talking feature, which I think came in Kinder Surprise eggs at some point, but I found this weird old website documenting the larger Tagga Boys. Apparently these were sold at Woolworths?

Good find! I searched that name myself and got this (terrible quality) ad, looks like they were produced by giochi preziosi: www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9kJAvegu5g
