What was your "I can't believe THAT's still around" moment?

Yeah, some people often forget how bad the internet was back then or are blinded by nostalgia.

There were black eyes from the old internet times such as the Amanda Bynes tragedy. Which I am shocked that didn't get prevented very well. But after discovering "Dear Zachary" I just forgot how flawed the Canadian justice system was back then.

As for sexism, I definitely remember it being in front of my face constantly during the mid-10's. Remember the dumb word "Femnazi?" And remember the assuredly made-up "fake gamer girl" concept?

I can remember guys in the YT comments being very horny for Tamashii even though she's just innocently talking about a kids franchise about monsters battling each other, like what? Oh, and I remember those stupid "make me a sandwich" jokes which thankfully died down.

I remember Transformice severs being pretty packed circa 2011. There is a video comparing the population from a decade ago to nowadays. Which the game seems to have died down.

I say it's popular, but not famous like Club Penguin. I guess one thing to consider is Transformice is a niche indie game with hardly any advertising and less of a fandom. (I don't even recall seeing ads) By fandom I mean like in a Touhou sort of way where fans make works and all that jazz. I am not sure if region-of-origin is a factor but it is based in Europe.
