The singer behind the song "Curly Toes". It's quite common for artists, especially outsider artists, to end up unidentified and there's a chance we may never know the woman behind Curly Toes. Since we do not know the singer, we do not know her whereabouts, anything about her and if she is still even around today.

It could get... interesting.
IIRC the identity of Q Lazarus who made "Goodbye Horses" was revealed because a particular individual was still collecting royalties on the song when it got licensed for things such as movies or video games. Granted she wasn't particularly wealthy from it but it provided her some income. She passed away peacefully unfortunately.
However that was a very popular one-hit wonder that was in games like Grand Theft Auto IV, so I doubt the trail would be as easy to find in this case.
As for lost media that will never get found... I really think Slamfest 99 is vaporware at this point. Most likely the dudes recording the live stream didn't think it was important enough to archive and Nintendo lost their copy of it.

I just thought about it recently. The infamous unreleased Eazy E diss track "Heat Melts Cube" where he disses Ice Cube is one that will probably never be "found". DJ Yella is confirmed to have a copy of it but refuses to release it, and it's possible that Ice Cube himself may have a copy of the song. Who knows if Dr. Dre or the other NWA members ever listened to it or have it.
This is one of the very few lost media "hoarding" situations that actually makes sense, as Eazy E made peace with all of his colleagues before he passed away of AIDS, and no one who has listened to the song would be willing to disrespect the man's final wishes. It's more of a Christine Chubbuck situation. The only way this will ever be "found" is if DJ Yella decides to release it for whichever reason.
the episodes of everyone on DoND who never made it to air.
when they filmed deal or no deal in Australia (the old version idk about the new one), they used to go through a dozen or so people in a day, but only 1-2 would actually make it to tv (you only got the money if your episode gets aired).
it was all recorded live, but we don't know what they did with all the cut footage. it's likely either deleted or in some vault we will never access.
Go for a Punch. Like I said in another thread, I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist and was made up by that 4chan anon because he felt like trolling. So if it doesn't exist, it can't be found. Simple as that. Ditto any other non-existent media, like Paccie and Kekcroc.
Also, probably any lost media that's centuries old like the lost parts of Beowolf or the lost books attributed to Homer.

I try not to lose a ton of hope about older, historical content. If I'm not mistaken, it wasn't too long ago that another tablet or two with complaints about Ea-Nasir was rediscovered, which is kind of hilarious. I think this also happened with something related to the Dead Sea Scrolls, but that may have been a forgery. Archeology is full of surprises, even if it's likely that some things are just long gone (like the various Greek and Roman artists with no surviving works).
I'm pretty sure silent films stopped being made in the early 1930s
No, there still are some like that . Begotten (1990) is a fine example, but that's not lost.
You forgot the French movie The Artist from 2011 that got an Academy award and had John Goodman in it. It's 99% silent except probably 10 to 15 seconds of talking mostly at the very very end.

Is it the same John Goodman who played Layton T. Montgomery in Bee Movie?
