Hey, so I've been looking on and off for this Super Mario 64 video that I remember seeing back in the day. I watched it probably back in like 2012-2014? The video if I had to guess, was uploaded around 2009-2011. Thankfully I think I remember the thumbnail, and it was like Mario looking down at the camera with the blue sky in the background. The video itself was some sort of ways to die in the game, and I think it was 4 ways specifically. From what I remember, it was a young kid filming his tv and talking while recording. It started out with Mario near the cannon that you use to get to the top of the castle and I'm pretty sure is also the part with the thumbnail, before the person shows us the ways to die in the game. I can only remember one method in the video, and I'm pretty sure it was jumping off of the top of the castle. The other methods however, I have 0 memory of. But the part that I'm about to describe is the main reason I'm even looking for this video. At the end, I vividly remember it being some sort of montage that showed Mario running around the starting areas of the game while the forest theme from Super Mario RPG played. I think it lasted about 15 seconds before some credits rolled. I remember the credits being green text on a red screen but I could definitely be wrong. The video then ended.
I remembered this video years later, maybe in like 2016, when listening to the Mario RPG forest theme again and tried to look for it again but I couldn't find it. I searched many things such as 4 ways to die in mario 64, dumb ways to die in mario 64, but I could find nothing that matched my memories. I've asked many people about this but no one seems to know about this video other than me. I feel like this could definitely be a case of a video with not much notoriety, even though I recall this video popping up as one of the first results when searching "ways to die in mario." This is one of my many personal lost medias that I'd love to watch again, as it introduced me to my favorite song from Mario RPG. If any of you have any clue what I'm talking about, please let me know!
