Whenever my mouse is at the bottom of the page, that green bar pops up and blocks half the page. When I went to see if Firefox has the same issue (I was using Chrome), I saw it was Chatango. I closed that out, but still whenever my mouse went to the bottom of the screen, half of the page goes white. The issue in Firefox also happened in Microsoft Edge.

For the first part of that, can you show a screenshot of what you mean? It's intentional that the chatango pops up when you hover over it, but if it just looks like a solid green bar then that's an issue. Also yeah whoops it's not supposed to just turn white when you close it
I figured out why it was going green instead of showing Chatango (browser settings), but it's still just empty white space where the chat box was before I closed it.

Sometimes, using the hyperlink tool only uses the link for the page of the forum post you are contributing to. No clue why this happens. Usually have to stop editing your post, refresh the page, and try again.

I've only seen this happen if you forget to enter a URL when creating the hyperlink. Do you know if it's happening otherwise?

It also happens when you select text and try to put in the url, select a url you have on the page, and more (though I don't remember the exact details) it seems to happen semi-randomly, but appears to trigger more often if you save your edit and refresh.
Site is not secure. I keep getting fake virus scams when I browse on my laptop.
Are you sure you're not loading the wrong domain sometimes? It was just switched a few days ago from forums.lostmediawiki.com/ to lostmediawiki.freeforums.net. I've noticed that some broken domains get infected quickly.

I'm not sure if it's come up before, but I noticed when starting my last thread, on lost Italian films, that when I italicize a word, sometimes it won't display properly when the comment is actually posted. I'll go back to edit the post, and in the text editor window it shows the word correctly italicized as I typed it, but then I go back to view the post again and the error is still there.
Hello! I tried to publish an article I wrote yesterday, but it said I could not as it wsa potential spam. I tried again earlier today and the same thing happen. Is there a reason this is happening? Do I need to have someone else look at my work before sharing it (which I would be absolutely cool with)? And could it be because I wrote most of the article in Microsoft word, then pasted it in and delt with formatting? Thanks in advance!
