Okay, really don’t want to dismiss your problem here or come off as a dick, but I feel like it would’ve been a better idea to just say “today’s afternoon hasn’t been as happy”, and then have people DM you if they’re curious.

Again, sorry that happened, but this is just an idea for next time.

I'm dumb and had the wrong glasses so I blinded myself and someone else who I allowed to use my glasses. Luckily someone else had the actual glasses so I got to see it.

I got to see it, but we were outside of the totality area, so it didn’t become dark, but still neat to see for the first time ever.
