I have waited all day for this... link? I don't even care about the bee movie one bit, but I just want to talk to people.
I do not know why that specific post was made to tell us he created another thread. It was not needed.
Well, since I am not him, I am not sure why you're complaining to me, but his post refers to "Critter Island", and how it's situation resembled Beebylon, I guess he has some kind of Bee Movie obsession, since he has also sent random Bee Movie concept stuff here.
I wish more was to be said about flushed away in particular, but not much seems to have come out of any of what has been suggested so far.
From what I read, Critter Island was a 2003 CGI animated short by DAVE school (Digital Animation and Visual Effects) about cockroaches living in a sewer, and in 2006, a woman named Yolanda Buggs, who worked on the short, attempted to sue Dreamworks for plagiarism in Flushed Away, because it featured animals living in a sewer. The case was unsurprisingly dismissed. But like Beebylon, Critter Island seems to be lost, aside from it's IMDb page image.
That's still on topic, right? If Modwalletguy wants to start a new thread dedicated to it, I'd support it.

I was not complaining I was just stating. Everything should be kept in topic about the title of the topic and not talk about other stuff not related to the topic and those should be kept to there own thread.

Cut stuff featured in the Director Commentary. . More London landmarks in the intro . Brief talk about G&S . The army guy coming to see Sid was in early drafts. . The "Dancing With My Self" scene varied. Some drafts, it would be very short. . Roddy was a bit of a "snob" in some drafts. . More alt lines of Sid. . A scene where Roddy comes up a different pipe and sees a "bottom" . More slugs were brought on the film since the test audience loved the screaming one. . Chicken Run (Fowler?) cameo . Alt Rita scenes . The Toad was originally an weasel
The rest of the cut scenes mentioned in the commentary will be posted tomorrow.

"Charlie Woo" and his house appear nowhere in the film, but are on Seán Choi's 3D portfolio, which you linked.

There is a chance that they will mention this cut character if it was notable in the production.

I have been looking through 2006 articles related to the then upcoming Flushed Away release, and found a lot of interesting things, including links to old official dreamworks sites and several promo images, as well as a super early prototype title logo, but can't share any of it. Also, noteworthy, articles I found still refer to G&S almost all the way up to the actual release date of the film. Unfortunately, there were several sites which featured early clips, posters and images, however, the images and videos are no longer accessible after so many years.
If anybody else wants to try, Google search for "flushed away" (in quotes) along with either "aardman" or "dreamworks" (also in quotes) and set the custom time range from 1/1/2006 until the film's release in November.
Was this the prototype logo you were talking about?

Yes, that is exactly it, but the image I found didn't have that border.
