I mean, I know we don't really discuss international dubs here but Blameitonjorge talked about it before so I may as well bring it up again.
Zero y el dragón mágico, aka the first Latin Spanish dub of OG Dragon Ball, which was iirc adapted from the Harmony Gold dub (which used to be lost in itself). Currently only half of the dub is available online (31/60 episodes).
This dub is well-known in LATAM for having changed the characters' names. Goku became Zero, Yamcha became Zedaki and Krillin became Cachito. The only changes that stuck in the eventual revised dub were Bulma's (since her name wasn't changed at all in the first place) and Oolong in place of Mao Mao.
As you can guess, this dub isn't distributed anymore; instead we have the faithful one that left most character names and terminology intact (safe for the ones mentioned earlier, and Chi-Chi's name being changed to Milk since "chichi" is slang for boobs in LATAM lol).

Do we know what channel(s) it was on and what year/years it was airing or re-airing? Do we know the distributor for this LATAM dub or do we have possible distributors? Finally, are any episodes available to watch (even if it a snipet)? Also if you can find the Harmony Gold Dub episodes, make a Google Doc with the episodes with their episode number and the English episode names or link the episodes (so then I do not confuse the Harmony Gold Dub with the LATAM dub).

The original audio that for whatever reason Toei decided to junk and was only found via tracking down off air recordings from Japan.
This, original broadcast audio is the biggest Dragon Ball lost media search. Not sure on the status of those
Not to derail the topic of this thread, but I think this affects quite a few other Toei anime. Though, it would be a pain to try and track down broadcast audio for all of them... The fact that all of the broadcast audio for DB/DBZ/DBGT has been found is pretty miraculous. Shows how dedicated Dragon Ball fans are.
Also, apologizes if this is a super dumb question: Just how rare are DBZ recordings from Toonami? I ask because I have a VHS tape with a couple hours worth of episodes, but there's this static line at the bottom of the screen that affects most of the tape. I'm going to try and mess with it some more once I get my VCR working, but from what I saw, all of the episodes are from the beginning of the Cell Saga.

There are some next episode previews and recaps that are missing with Dale Kelly so kinda rare so even if there is some static i'd say those tapes are worth capturing just for the NEPs and recaps alone.
I had typed up something but apparently the reply on the green header here isnt actually a reply button.
The Renaissance Atlantic Films project, it was in development right before or as Funimation got the rights to the series. I messaged one person associated with the company and she may have some info she may have but my reasoning why id like to know didnt warrant a reply, but given the recent loss of Akira Toriyama and if someone can word it properly, she may reveal what she remembers of the project.
If you're referring to Marlene Sharp, she's been asked about it before and said she doesn't have anything related to Dragon Ball. She only saw some toys at the office. Her time at Renaissance Atlantic was after a lot of those weird projects were made. We actually don't know if much or any work went into Dragon Ball as Funimation acquired the rights to the original show pretty shortly after.
It was her, i always hate asking people questions because i hate to be the one beating a dead horse. She was vague with me in my brief conversation with her back in February. What is your stance on the Dragon Ball project being worked into WMAC Masters?

Marlene's been asked about RA a lot of the last few years (she's the reason we know of Starstorm, which kind of kicked off the deep dives into that company's history). Unless she finds some more stuff in storage, I don't think there's much left for her to talk about on this subject. Ray Mona hasn't gotten to it yet, but she mentioned working on a Digimon concept during her time there. It never made it beyond paper, though.
A WMAC superfan is writing a book on the show and he's said no one he's interviewed has ever mentioned any ties to Dragon Ball:
If there are any direct links between the two, it's probably on a more base conceptual level ("We want to make a martial arts show for kids") than just recycling their Dragon Ball project with the names scratched off.

i know of Ray's search, i dont know of any others who asked besides her I combed through Marlene's twitter before I asked, But I can assume others have. I've seen all of this on twitter. I was trying to get your opinion because I could see some similarities such as WMAC is like or worded like world marital arts tournament or the cyborg in the show has a eye equipment similar to a scouter, I know these are all just assumptions but maybe if we could find the people who the author of that book couldnt reach has the answers If there are any
i feel as if the lack of interest can just be seen in how little people care about the ocean dub, most people don’t know it went past the ginyu saga and people who did see it in the uk misremember it as funi personally as someone who’s grew up and accustomed to kai but also really likes the ocean cast this feels specifically catered to me lol. the article is well researched and its insane to me that we just have a alternate eng dub with actors that were long seperated from said roles, its like if we had one piece movies with the 4kids cast as options or the new james bond movies shot with actors who played as him 70 years ago lol not to mention it’s just sitting in toei’s vault waiting for a canadian channel to drop it (which ALMOST happened in 2020) or someone to leak it. but i do wonder if netflix/funimation wanted the dub but toei just wouldnt let them have it for either legal or business reasons (i am aware there’s some legal bullshit with canadian content being made and sold over there first,, i think its why they wouldn’t let the uk company have it, its like how tdi seasons are aired in canada first now)
There is no law that a production made in Canada has to debut first in Canada. The continuation of the Vancouver Dragon Ball Z dub debuted first in Europe. More recently, the English dub of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai premiered on BBC iPlayer in the UK before anywhere else.
I couldn't tell you why Kixx aired Funimation's dub of Kai over Ocean's. Canada has been a wasteland for anime on linear television since the '00s. I think we're the only major English-speaking market in the world to not have Kai or Super on TV at all.
I find this unreleased game trailer extremely interesting. Like the Metroid 4 trailer it looks so strange and not like real gameplay. youtu.be/qCTkBapR5EE?si=-DYEcox0tWSTC58V

I don't have time to make a whole Google doc about this lol. It aired on the channel that's nowadays known as XHGZ Canal 5 from México in 1993. I can't seem to find any information about who distributed the dub, only the dubbing company (Video Doblajes). There's actually a YouTube channel that used to upload clips (particularly clips that would get censored, like the raunchy sexual jokes) of this dub: youtube.com/@zeroyeldragonmagico1142?si=TLK9l6O7z3hX4FG5
