And speaking of Charlie Brown, I love how the original 1965 broadcast of A Charlie Brown Christmas was found in 2022. Im sure that’s already been heavily discussed on LMW. As cool as the premiere was, I’m glad they did some minor soundtrack and camera edits for the future rebroadcasts to make it seem less rushed/schlocky. To hear missing dialogue and different/missing music makes it seem like a completely different special and it’s a bit strange lol.

Yep. The original broadcast of ACBC differed quite a bit from all subsequent releases. But I’m also very curious about the potentially cut Schroeder scene for ABNCB. I’m not sure when it comes to leads, but I have had a bit of luck searching for new details for the Failure Face thing via animation cels on eBay. I’m a casual lost media fan, I love hearing about lost media but I don’t really look for it. But this particular subject means a lot to me because I love this movie

It would be nice to find full original prints of the other 1960’s specials with their sponsor tags intact.
