As someone who's been a fan of Power Rangers since it first aired, I've become interested in finding a precursor pilot that Saban created in the 80's. Bio-Man Article
After learning about the lost pilot I decided to do some digging around to see if it could be found. I contacted comic book reviewer and author Linkara (real name Lewis Jeffery Lovhaug) who's done history of Power Rangers videos and has some contacts relating to the series. He suggested I try and contact KROZE of the band Random Gibberish, who has had several contacts with Power Rangers people or Tony Oliver, who has shown off some old pilots of the series before at conventions. He also wishes this search team the best of luck and hopes we find it.
I've tried on numerous occasions to email Tony Oliver but he hasn't responded to me. I'm also trying to find contact info on KROZE, but I've been busy lately. It's also very likely that this pilot isn't in a digital format as it was made in 1986.
The five lead actors of the pilot, Mark Dacascos, Miguel A. Núñez Jr, Tricia Leigh Fisher, Tom Silardi and Rebecca Staples are also believed to have copies of the pilot. Creator Haim Saban is also said to still have a copy the shows to various producers and business executives.
And here we are now with numerous leads relating to the pilot.

At the moment trying to find contact info relating to someone called KROZE of the band Random Gibberish is something worth trying. And maybe trying to find a way to contact the actors who were in the pilot as well. Paul Schrier who was a series regular on the first few seasons of Power Rangers has also claimed to have seen the pilot, but I don't know if he has it.

I'm not big on Power Rangers either, but on the side I'm more than willing to watch how this search goes.

Thanks. I kind of figured this search would be more aimed towards people who are fans of the series. This search won't be as interesting as ADWSS, but your support is greatly appreciated.
I know Shout Factory has been distributing Power Rangers and Super Sentai material, so they may have rights to distributd certain parts of the franchise. They're usually very helpful, it might be worth emailing them to see if they know who has the rights or if anyone owns a copy.
