I have several Goodwills around my area, and they always have at least a few tapes that are recorded by hand. I could buy a few and see what's on the tapes. (Of course, I'd also have to get a VCR, but I think I might have one in storage). I also have memories of having a bunch of tapes as a kid. It was a combination of store-bought and recorded tapes in it. I no longer have them as this was at least 7-10 years ago.
Can you check to see with them if they have any episodes of other ones such as "Grandma, Look What I Found", "Max the Cat", "Wanna Play?", "Land O'Hands", and others?
I don't recall them saying they had any of those shows, as I provided a list of lost media to look for. When I last spoke to them, they said they did not have anything off of the list I had provided. Max the Cat, Grandma, Look What I found, and Wanna Play were for sure on the list. I cannot recall if I include Land O'Hands. I can ask again once I get back into contact with them.
That sounds good. Since "Wanna Play?" is half found, and "Land O'Hands" is only 5% found.

Okay quick update. I did get into contact with the family friend last night. To his knowledge and based off of what they say was on the tapes, the other shows in question are not present. Most of the episodes on the tapes are Max and Ruby as well as other widely accessible programs from the early 2000s, as the tapes are from 2003. According to this family friend, they do not have any more tapes containing footage from Treehouse TV or other channels of the sort. Sorry this was dead end.

A dead end is better than no end!

I think what might've happened with Krista Jackson is that she might get so many messages about the show, she just ignores them. She is allowed to do whatever she wants though.
Also, I remember at the begining of this thread, someone (I forget who) contacted YTV about the show and they stated "We don't have info for shows that have been off the air for over a year, but shows we made ourselves might be a special case". Has anybody ever gotten any more out of that response that will lead us to more? Just curious.
Seeing as to how I've gotten in touch with Michael Decsi, and how we know a few other names associated with the show, then perhaps we might be able to get in touch with YTV with a little more basis and seriousness concerning our search. I'll email Corus entertainment as well as YTV and Treehouse TV to see if I get a different response.

Can you possibly post what you sent these people? It may be what you wrote that threw them off/led them not to reply.
Also a suggestion if one person contacted someone please do not contact the same person again. It may throw the person receiving the emails off.
Are you sure they weren't just getting married there? I hit a few results stating she might be in Ontario. We also have to keep in mind that she might now have a new surname seeing as to how the marriage would change it.
I did some looking around and found out that Jennifer Racicot's husband is Andrew Grantham, the guy who does the Ultimate Dog Tease video (super funny, check it out)

And you're right, they do live in Sudbury, Ontario. That might take us a little more in-depth. I'm about to do more research.
I also found a Facebook account by the name of Jenni Racicot-Grantham, who is the same one as on YTV. How exactly do I get into contact with someone on Facebook if I'm not friends with them, and I don't know them in person?

Whoa what? You found Jennifer? I'll try getting in touch with her now that we have the Facebook account. This is a big find, well done!

I was looking up CRTC logs and found some old ones for Treehouse TV that may point to finding it. I made up a list of shows "My Special Book" came on after as of August 2004. The list is the following:
- Franklin / The Mole Sisters (Shorts) - Boohbah - Oswald / Small Steps PSAs - Franklin - 4 Square - The Wiggles / Judy and David's Boom Box
If there's a / (slash) and another show is listed after, it means that my Special Book comes after that one, but keep the show in mind.
The idea is people should look for recordings of these shows off of Treehouse in Summer 2004. Thought this might help.
I might remember the show because of the Boohbahs. I was a big fan of that show, though I cringe at it now.
I also noticed on a YouTube channel that Judy and David's Boombox also came after Barney. Think there might be a chance of finding the show in that time frame?
