I thought the blog author was a homestay student. Knowing where they were might help us figure out a broadcast time.
I looked into it and I found a log for a showing in the morning of November 25th, 2005. It was the episode "Birthday for Story Stuff" which aired at 8:55 AM, after an 8:30 AM showing of "The Berenstain Bears" (House of Mirrors / Too Much Pressure).

Oh, ok. Thanks!

Hi there I have a friend at McMaster University , and they have VHS archive of all TV channels from the early 2000's. We are trying to search there for My Special Book, but so far we haven't turned up anything. Any help from anyone who goes to that campus would be great thanks! Or if anyone knows of a University that also has a VHS archive maybe that would be the next place to check. Thanks.
I actually live very close to McMaster! I would love to help you guys however i am not a student there, do you think i would still be able to help out?

One thing about the show that I VAGUELY remember (this won't help with the search though) is that it had the YTV logo at the end. Not sure if it's true, but that's because I haven't seen it in 12 years. It hasn't been seen by anyone in 12 years, except for that removed YouTube video that senshisun mentioned.

That makes sense since it was originally a YTV Junior production.

On the other hand, though, "Pet Squad" (which is also from YTV Jr. and premiered on the same date) doesn't have the YTV logo. It just has the "Pet Squad" logo (occasionally with (C) YTV Productions MCMXCVIII). It could be true, or it could be a vague memory. I also sort of remember it with the Treehouse logo at the end. Maybe it was plastered, or my memory is playing tricks on me again.

So I decided to do some more hands-on work at the Alberta Archives, and went through newspaper microfilms for the Calgary and Edmonton newspapers to check their television schedulings.
The Calgary Herald had nothing for Treehouse, but did have listings for YTV. However, it didn't list any programs less than 15 minutes in length. Meanwhile, looking at the Edmonton Journal microfilms yielded schedulings for both channels, but unfortunately like the Calgary Herald, it didn't list anything under 15 minutes in length.
Judging from this, we're probably going to need other resources looking for air times of the show. I also checked the films, and found nothing for the show unfortunately.

The CRTC programming logs have helped me a lot. Maybe you should try those.

I sure hope we find this soon, since this show keeps popping up in my dreams. I've had about 10 dreams about this show in the past month. Anyone else having this happen?

I have some supposed good news. I was talking to my best friend about Treehouse TV. He said that in 2004, he taped a bunch of shows in a row on the station (sort of like what I did in 2007). What does this mean? He might have the show in his possession. It's only a matter of getting permission to look through stuff and actually finding the tapes. There's a good chance it's on there though. I'll keep you guys updated. We both have birthdays in July (mine is July 10th, his is July 16th), so we usually have a birthday sleepover. It's possible that I'll find it then. If I go sooner though (like just for a visit), you'll be seeing confirmation sooner.
