Lost Incredibles 2 Opening "Cast Apology"

I remember looking for it a while ago after hearing the nostalgia critic talk about it in his Incredibles 2 sibling rivalry video.

I'm surprised it's not included as a Blu-ray/DVD bonus. I remember seeing this and that one seizure scene. I can imagine some bootleg theatre recording has that opening intact somewhere out there. Which brings up my question. Where are those copies usually sold at?

This is interesting. I wonder if Finding Dory ever had something like this.

That's a good question. Is there an archive anywhere on the internet for these kinds of things? If not, we should at least start creating a concrete list of movies with cast intros. It's tragic for media this widely viewed in this day and age to go missing.

These intros are not uncommon, at least from the films I've seen in theaters - the three movies that I can remember that had intros starting right before them are Incredibles 2 (The topic of this thread), as well as Top Gun: Maverick & Mean Girls '24.

Along with this, I kept a log of the previews that went on before Taylor Swift's Eras Tour movie: The previews were for Color Purple, Trolls 3, Mean Girls, One Love, Anyone But You and Wish. Trolls 3 and Mean Girls specifically were ads targeted towards the movie's audience (With on-screen words saying things along the lines of "Hey Swifties" or "You're here for the music moment of the year"), but I haven't been able to find either ad online.

Surprised that basically none of these special movie theatre introductions get saved
