I never got what the big deal about Red Letter Media was personally, never liked their Star Wars reviews, just find them hacky and lame(and very poorly aged in the case of the prequels reviews which have numerous cringy "gay" jokes).
Also not big on Quinton Reviews, I like his enthusiasm and like Dan Schneider's shows but my god his videos are WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY TOO fucking long for my tastes, even fast-forward them at 2x speed takes up too much time and i'm not one of those people that can just have videos play in the background while i'm doing something else(I can only do that for podcasts).
Also really don't care for The Blockbuster Buster as I find him painfully unfunny and don't like Erod as a person in general for various behind-the-scenes reasons that I won't go into here.
Big Joel makes me hate myself because of the way he presents his videos and ideas (which aren't always the best, and everything he does is so negative, like would it kill him to make a video about something he likes or isn't depressing?)
Friendly Space Ninja has barely anything good to say, and for a guy from France, he is at such an advantage to introduce to the world French Pop Culture, Movies and TV, but all he can do is whine about CW shows. Similarly to Big Joel, he hardly talks about things that he likes or are actually good.
Critical Drinker is the evil version of Nostalgia Critic. NC may be a little weird and kinda cringe, but at least his videos don't fill you with dread and misery.
HiTop Films is the most arrogant and pretentious person to ever walk this Earth, and the fact that someone like that can be part of the same communities that I can partake in is so gross to me.
Comicbookgirl19 was someone I admired at a certain point, but then there was a dispute on twitter between me, her and the repliers on her tweet that left a bad taste in mouth (not to mention how much she bad-mouthed the things and people I liked).
(Dis)Honorable Mentions: Clownfish TV, Nerdrotic, & Doomcock all belong in jail for the rage-bait BS that they peddle all the time.

I mentioned on the other thread that I'm the same way about Quinton Review's stuff. If you're going to ramble on a single topic for 3+ hours in MULTIPLE videos, it better be either super, super, super engaging OR it better be over the most nostalgia of all nostalgia for me personally.
And not sure if he even has a community of any type anymore, but I never got super into The Amazing Atheist. I liked some his old stuff okay, but he fell off very quickly for me.

My general rule of thumb for video essays is that the video essay itself should be no more than 50-75 percent the length of the piece of media being discussed. Anything else and you are just going on and on and in circles too.
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."

Amazing Atheist is a vile piece of shit who I never liked, he once harassed a rape victim online and has spewed lots of bigoted and hateful garbage over the past several years.
Generic answers but Paul Brothers, I hate them as people...
Yeah, I was already WAY too old for them when they came on the scene, but let's face it, what they do WORKS so it's easy to get frustrated. And I get it, consumerism fuels spending which fuels more demand which fuels jobs which fuels taxes and infrastructure yada yada yada. BUT the Paul brothers are so egregious with their endless merch hawking to little kids who don't know any better that it feels really, really gross. Say what you want about the Blueys, or Paw Patrols, or heck for older kids the Spongebobs of this world which also hawk merch, at least there are people involved in those projects who actually CARE about what they are making beyond making $$$. There is nothing enriching or enlightening or dare I say, positive about the Paul brothers' content.

I never liked Erods skits. I know 10 years ago reviews felt like they had to do these story skits but I would always skip them.
I find Quinton Reviews annoying and I don’t know why. I liked his older vids more but I stopped watching when I just could not stand him anymore.

same with assholes like Dr Disrespect and Adin Ross, both are vile catch u next tuesdays whose popularity is baffling.
This might be a petty answer since I've never personally watched this YouTubers content, but there's one user on the Internet Archive who reuploads a bunch of videos from this one VTuber who talks about current events. All of his videos have incredibly inflammatory titles, I think his name is Rev. Never bothered to look into his content, since all of the video reuploads on the Internet Archive make looking through the "anime" tag an absolute nightmare. Imagine thumbnails with a generic girl VTuber model with titles like "WOKE ANIME COMMUNITY OWNED" spanning rows and rows of search results. It's abysmal lmao

Oh yeah there's a whole army of those types out there, Hero Hei is the one I recall most. All a bunch of rabid orientalists and future sexpatriates

I can't stand that type of content. I've clicked on similar things before out of curiosity (on incognito so it doesn't mess with my recommended algorithm lol) and all of those videos are just some guy getting mad at some out-of-context twitter reply with 2 likes for 20-30 minutes.
Totally agree on the orientalism thing, a lot of their arguments boil down to "Japanese people (all of them) agree with me, and the ones who don't have been influenced by Western culture, therefore I'm correct", completely ignoring that it's a country with millions of people with differing opinions and perspectives, just like literally anywhere else in the world.

I once came across a Star Vs. The Forces of Evil video essay that was about as long as the first season of the show; who would actually sit through such a video?? Just watch the show for yourself and make your own opinions, why copy/paste someone else's?
