I created a Discord server dedicated to archiving mods, images, versions, maps, videos,...everything Minecraft-related. if you want to join, here's the link, since it's been created, there is just me in it. I know that there are servers like Omniarchive or LMN but the reasons will be explained more clearly in the welcome section. The server is going to be released soon. Tell me if you wanna join, I will send you the link.

Hello Guys me and someone else called MisterSheeple are taking over this project now if you find anyone give it to me I'll tell supergeno to confirm what I said just so you guys know
I don't really understand the move to Discord. I use it, I use it all the time, but it's not easier to use nor does it have more features than the forums. Bots have to make up for the fact that Discord is little more than voice chat and an image sharer. Is there a particular reason why so many of us have moved off-forum?
Interesting post. Unfortunately those Archive.org links don't work to get the version. It does show the page on which the game would have been embedded, but it doesn't actually load the jar file. In fact, I don't think archive.org even has these jars archived. I have viewed the pages in HTML source code mode in my browser, and have found the URLs for the jars but using these URLs doesn't get me the jars. It seems that archive.org simply has not archived all of the jar files that were available on minecraft.net including the ones that you seem to imply had been archived, by posting comments like "Guys, I have news! This is a version of 0.0_14a offset test!". But of course going to that link, viewing the HTML code, copying the archive.org URL for the jar and browsing to it, doesn't get me to the indicated version. Instead it gets me to the standard 0.30 version (which is the version that archive.org has archived that is closest in time to the requested version).
