The only light they get is a small amount of light at set meal times and when they use the bathroom. The rest of the time they have to remain in the dark. Every 4 days, 3 contestants are eliminated until only 2 remain on the last day and 1 is crowned the winner. Contestants who wanted out early have to say "I am afraid of the dark!" and they were eliminated and taken out of the darkness. If no one makes it to the last day, then no one wins the prize.

Johnson And Friends: Johnny Johnson has some cool dudes he hangs out with, but the city is a sucky place filled with uncaring beings who just wreck it all around. Johnson & his friends must clean out the city & teach these dumb guys a lesson on trashing the whole place.
The Puzzle Place: A group of friends known as the Zippy Cools are just hanging out at whatever before they get zapped into a portal to an alternate dimension known as "The Puzzle Place". The evil ruler of the place, Liminia the Witch, tells them that in order to get out, they must solve the many puzzles along the way & is said to be an impossible task. It is a bizarre place, filled with many weird creatures & the puzzles themselves are of the insane nonsense moon logic kind.
Golden Boy: In the little known city of Elburg, Gelderland lived a fine boy known as Jeroen Van Klutterton. However, something weird happened. One night, when he was sleeping, he was suddenly feeling a strange light from an unknown source. Originally ignoring it, he eventually woke up & did his usual Saturday breakfast before looking in the mirror to realize that he is now colored solid gold & now he, alongside his friend Marcus, must find who did this & how to change him back to his regular self.
The Telebugs: A comedy duo show starring Jimmy the dragonfly & Laurel the ladybug, trying to be funny it so seems!

That actually is kinda similar to the premise of shows like Capitol Critters. I could see THIS Rugrats being the "random town in small state"/adventure equivalent to that show. Basically the critters making "critter cities" out of the junk we humans throw all around & following 4 rat kids from 4 different critter cities who go to a funky town mostly made of rugs called "Carpetius" that the kid critters have made as a special secret place only the kid critters would know.

Ok, now this is starting to sound like Capitol Critters meets Craig of the Creek.

ReBoot: A cobbler has to re-do a boot that a customer gave him. Fixing the boot turns out to be very difficult and takes the entire show's run to fix it.
