Take a TV show that exists but give it an interesting but unrelated plot and storyline. Here are some of mine:
Deadwood: A hard hitting documentary series about deforestation and environmental damage and what can be done to stop and reverse the damage.
Skins: A reality series about a tattoo parlour and its customers.
Curb Your Enthusiasm: A hard hitting, late night reality talk show about what is going wrong with the world today from wars, climate crisis, biodiversity loss, environmental damages, inflation, food security issues, corruption, criminal gangs, murders, disease outbreaks and more.
Rugrats: Think your rugs and carpets are clean? Tune in and find out what potential horrors are hidden in the fabrics that cover our buildings floors.
Touching Evil: Historical drama series that shows the lives of some of the most evil people ever to live including: Pol Pot, Adolf Hitler, Vlad the Impaler, Genghis Khan, Attila the Hun and more.
Boy Meets World: A 1990s family friendly sitcom about a baby boy and his interaction with the world around him from when he is born to age 5.
Girl Meets World: Modern retake on "Boy Meets World". When the boy from "Boy Meets World" grows up and gets married, they have a daughter. This is how she sees the world around her from when she is born until age 5.
ALF: Spinoff from the Australian soap, Home and Away, focusing on the character Alfred James "Alf" Stewart and his day to day goings on. Why does this exist? Who knows.
Hey Arnold!: Historical documentary series focusing each episode on a different, famous Arnold such as Arnold Brilhart, Arnold Palmer and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The Simpsons: From the makers of "Hey Arnold!" comes another historical documentary about famous "Simpsons" throughout history including: Sir George Simpson 1792-1860 (Governor of Hudson's Bay Company), Wallis Simpson, Ashlee and Jessica Simpson, O.J. Simpson and more.
Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: A documentary series looking at historical accounts of monsters to try and figure out what people actually saw at the time.
Californication: A reality series that follows the lives and career of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Pinky and the Brain: A fictionalised look at the Pinkerton's detective agency, since it was founded in 1850 by Allan Pinkerton, to the the present day.
