Hmm... I'm not gonna lie, some of these screenshots from Jun's site look very, very familiar. The old and strange animation with fuzzy, hissy audio especially. Is it confirmed he was the only one with the episodes? I know my dad was (and still is) a huge archiver - we've got tapes going back to the late 90's in my house alone and my relatives were already going on about how he recorded everything from the daily life of his siblings to various TV shows and parts of movies as early as he could afford to buy the equipment. The reason I ask this is, and I might be remembering this wrong, but when I was little, he used to show my brother and I loads of old movies and anime along with current ones. Reason being, we didnt have cable so in order to shut us up he had us watch TV shows. Remember how I said he was a huge archiver? He was also a huge bootlegger. Nothing ever big enough to get him arrested, he would copy a few stacks of DVDs and people would bring him VHSes to get new movies. Anyways, he would keep all the copies he made. In our basement, he's literally got around close to 500 DVD cases full of bootleg movies and shows on VCD. In his old house in Hong Kong, he's got a storage shed full of barely labelled VHS, DVDs, photo albums, that sort of thing. He brought some of it over to America when he emigrated. This brings us back to when my brother and I were kids. He digitized his old stuff onto VCDs for us to watch and I have a feeling I saw a Doraemon episode in a similar style through one of his VCDs he gave us to watch. But I have a bad feeling that VCD I saw was given away (my mom forced him to clean shop so he gave away a lot of stuff - we had well over 1000+ cases filling up two rooms in our house) to this daycare my parents knew the owner of. I do remember from my last trip over there in 2010, the owner was still using some of our old VCDs and VHSes we had given them many years before.
I think it might be worth it to dig a little bit into his personal hobby of over 30 years and see what I can come up with. No promises though. Probably a super long shot. Also my dad's in Hong Kong right now, I'll see if I can contact him about going back to his old house and seeing if he could perhaps see the contents of the various crap he has stored away.
Also, to my knowledge, yeah, but someone did had a VHS copy of one episode from 1978, albeit incomplete. Supposedly they did upload video to a site, but now it leads to a corrupted download. They did upload audio clips, but that's all that remains from that site.

Right everyone, because drama on the Discord involving Notelu and some others led to Notelu deleting his '73 archive, I have made a new one, gathered from the materials I have in my archive. mega.nz/#F!uFwAgKrD!iGvBcdLFoKWxNTP5rapopA

Is there a time frame on when the VHS was taped? But as my dad is currently in Hong Kong right now, I'll have to ask him what happened to that VCD he had in America and when he has the time to visit his old house to check the crap.

The tape, from what I've been told, is from 1978, and was recorded in black and white.
Excellent work! It catches my eye the fact that, in all the synopsis I found about episode 42, I never found anything about a wrestling battle or whatever Gian and Nobita are doing there.
It seems to be a retelling of one of the episodes of the show. That is pretty common in children's magazines like that in Japan. Usually, they use original illustrations, but this was an exception.
