Underworld can be considered almost one of the best pioneers of British independent experimental electronic music (not without the help of friends, acquaintances and family, of course!). however, the best period of the band's existence can be considered the Riverrun era (called after a long-term Underworld's project). it's marked by the fact that the activities of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith, the founders of the collective, were especially intensified after Hyde solved the problems related to his depression and alcoholism. they delved deeper into the Internet and also recorded numerous tracks for their future major releases, some of which've been forgotten or lost. the main releases are Lovely Broken Thing, Pizza For Eggs, I'm A Big Sister..., Oblivion With Bells, 020202, Phonestrap and Scribble.
especially there are two things that could be attractive... these are the Boy, Boy, Boy track revisions (some of them are avaliable on major releases with their satellite ones) and the Autotrader series of tracks, of which only two tracks remain - the third and fourth (from Phonestrap). there's still hope for a find, but when it can be done is unknown.
for those who want to dive into this topic, i recommend visitin the following links:
Jabril 4 Real, Zones Quest and TracksOnMars
these are enthusiasts who are rly interested in Underworld and have been lookin for more of their rare and previously lost extra materials
Underworld's Discogs page
a full discography what includes the Riverrun era's releases
Crocodile = Can You Feel This Bass?
the one of pages of topic abt Crocodile (the first track of OwB) on Dirty Forums, what contains more of important info abt lost tracks
Warner Chappell
the official site of Warner Chappell label that can contain an info abt B, B, B revisions... it's not workin rn, and i tried to look for the previous versions on WM, but i couldn't connect to it properly
if you or your friends, relatives or acquaintances know anything abt these lost recordings, pls, lemme know, so i'll be able to update this topic
thank you for the attention
i wish you a good day!
P.S. wrote this on the second attempt as i accidentally closed the text edit page...
