Alright, I’m back. Also, a thief and cobbler-esque restoration would be nice. I believe his next restoration project should be the pebble and the penguin tho, but that’s a topic for another day.
Honestly, I wonder if Blameitonjorge responded. I’d love to see his video on the subject.
im glad your back, we can continue our contacting efforts better now. blameitonjorge hasn't responded yet, but according to his video schedule he should be looking for content right about now.

Perfect timing then. This seems like the perfect topic for him to discuss, since his videos tend to have an eerie vibe to them, and this subject compliments that perfectly (the Cels for the deleted scenes also have an eerie, creepy vibe to them, especially the sharptooth ones.)
Also, I don’t think I myself can reach out to anyone. I’d probably end up saying something offensive (for context, I could think over the same sentence like, 100 times, and it would still come off as offensive. It’s the worst.), so I can’t do it.

yea maybe we can have a higher member do it because ive seen a lot of members mess up searches by annoying contacts (not saying your doing that, but i dont trust myself to contact any more people). I was hoping you would come back so if a lead does come up, we have the original poster to discuss ideas with.

Well, there are currently, 2 leads wether previous search hadn’t yet contacted, one being a lead animator (John Pomeroy, who actually animated on a deleted scene, particularly the extended sharptooth attack, and dick zondag, also an animator). Jean morel may also be worth a try.
Jean also has the original cut of rock-a-doodle, so we may find that too while we are at it. Even if we didn’t plan on finding it, it’s always nice to find some additional stuff along the way.
What blameitonjorge tweet did you pitch the search on if I may ask? Just curious.
Surely there's a better way to keep a thread relevant than by artificially inflating its position in the index.
Nevermind, I think I may have found something.
This storyboard from mark Pudleiner blog includes a shot animated by John Pomeroy, who was a lead animator on the film. Below is a storyboard of that shot:

Also, the animation for sharptooth in this bit does actually remain intact in the final film, in which it was recycled for the climax where he headbutts into the rock wall:

In fact, there are quite a few instances where animation was recycled for the finished movie, including animation from the deleted scenes. Most of them were reused for the climax.
