Please don't ever make me rember that again! Bad puppet is bad!
Lol I did buy about 8-9 new vhs and a Laserdisk today! My good will has a couple action and bad-horror movies on laser disk. Though I don't know if it has a lost episode I never looked.
Most of the stuff I have are cartoon VHS, and also I have some Nickelodeon orange tapes. I also have 2 episodes of Reading Rainbow recorded off my local PBS affiliate in 1989.
I'd spoiler this post, but I don't think we have a spoiler system.
My collection of video game promo tapes. Diddy Kong Racing did not come with a sleeve, so I had to make one. The top copy of Hot Newz 64 is sealed with the original recipient's address sticker on it.
Monty Python's Python-a-Thon. A 4-hour long home recording of a week-long marathon Comedy Central held in 1994 of Monty Python's Flying Circus. The bumpers contain interviews with the cast members.
Yog Monster From Space: AIP english dub. Also known as Space Amoeba. As a horror/monster movie collector, I am very proud of this find. Supposedly, this dub is pretty rare. The couple I picked this up from had a lot of good stuff including a Midnight Madness (Elvira) release of the Giant Gila Monster. There's a comparision between the two dubs here. Unfortunately, the tape contents are some of the worst I've ever seen. Bad flickering and static distortion at several intervals. But, that's the gamble with VHS tapes.
Sealed copy of Killer Klowns From Outer Space. I own three copies of this movie: a sealed VHS, a sealed DVD, and an open DVD because this movie was what got me into campy horror. I saw this as a kid and instantly fell in love with it. While the movie itself isn't rare, this sealed tape is worth more to me even more than Yog Monster From Space.
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. No, I am not mistaken. This is what I believe to be a factory error tape. Both the labels and sleeve that came with it say it contains A Charlie Brown Christmas, but the contents of the tape are Great Pumpkin. I at first assumed that someone recorded over the tape, but towards the end of the reel, a distorted version of Great Pumpkin plays again, sped up, in greyscale, stretched across the screen (creepypasta, anyone?). My best guess is that it is a factory error that was never returned, as it explains why the same yard sale had another copy of A Charlie Brown Christmas from a different release. I've uploaded this strange ending here.
