So someone found a release on Discogs. It's a single named "C.I.A./Gimmie Some Love" by a band known as The Reform.
There is no info about it, not even a year, however, it is just a few seconds shy of our mysterious song and it's labeled rock. They were able to order a copy of it however, so now it's just a waiting game to see.

I’m really hoping this could be it, it’s always satisfying solving obscure lostwave songs.

Someone on discogs claims to have it and said it isn't it... however, they don't appear to have any listings at all in their collection nor does anyone currently have that release listed. So idk...
I had several email contacts working for Canadian radios who all confirmed that it sounded typically like Canadian music, but without having more information.
Some of these contacts will inquire and redirect me to individuals who might potentially help identify the sound.

Different song:
Heck, this song isn't even from Canada. It's from the state of Illinois.
It’s entirely possible that the actual title of the song isn’t CIA, as the case with other lostwave songs many have been different from what was initially thought to be the title.

I am betting on "Driving Me Insane" or "Winter Insanity".

Hey, not sure if you'll see this, but which of the albums listed are not accounted for? I'm thinking of buying the Cal Scott one and maybe other albums and digitising them
Edit: It's not Cal Scott, but still a nice album. Will digitise it at some point
