The year is 2014 it’s spring. (The only reason I remember when I saw this is because McDonald’s had the new skylanders swap force toys at McDonald’s in the happy meals and I had gotten one that day.)
Anyway I go downstairs to my dads work computer in our basement and go to watch some clips of Animal Jam on YouTube. These clips of Animal Jam that I watched were found on the Official Jim Henson YouTube channel. Anyway as I was watching these clips I see a video recommended with a thumbnail that I will never forget. The thumbnail is of a pink muppet like women sitting in a chair as if she were the host of a talk show or a guest on one. I remember being terrified of this video and immediately closing out of YouTube and running upstairs to my mom and telling her about how it scared me. When I told her she just said that if it scared me that I shouldn’t be watching YouTube. All I have to remember is this memory but I’m sure that all of the information that I have provided is correct. I was only in 1st grade when I saw this but since soon it will be the 10 year anniversary of this I thought I would be a good time to share this. Honestly typing this brought tears to my eyes just thinking about how it’s going to be 10 years since I saw this. Honestly it’s probably not creepy at all but as a 1st grader I thought so. If anyone has any idea who or what this was please tell me. Also one last detail that I forgot to mention was that it may have been an ad for a video. Like I think that it may have been at the top of the YouTube videos on the side bar with an ad yellow box by it.
Also this puppet that I’m talking about isn’t Marmy from Between the lions or Ratafak or Banjo from the sprout let’s grow show just to clear that up.
At the bottom of the page is a really bad 2 minute drawing I made of what she looked like.
