Hello! I am a former moderator of the Blues Brothers Central site forums - the lone source link from the article. The site and forums were both recently shut down and the main URL now redirects to the Facebook page, where I serve as a moderator also and mostly help post fan content and what little news there is for the fandom. The site's owner/admin has told us (me and another former mod) that he will likely make an archive version of the site and forums available in the future, but no idea on how soon that might occur. In the meantime, we are trying to re-establish what was left of the social side of the community on Facebook. I have posted a link to the LMW article and this thread on the FB page and will pin it to the top of the page for a while to hopefully stir up some attention for the search. It is something we are asked about frequently, but which most of us know little about other than "it was a thing that never fully became a thing". Marcsradtke, you have already done a great job with fresh eyes on this, IMO, since I don't recall having ever seen any version of these pictures you found on the Perky Pickle site. I don't know what help I can personally provide on this topic, but I will try to keep the topic on the radar as best I can.

Well i am currently out of town till sunday, but something i do once in awhile is go on google and just type in Blues Brothers Animated series 1997. Keep scrolling down and thats how i found these articles and pictures about the cartoon. If your bored thats something to do, cause you never know you could find something i didnt.

well, yesterday at 10:30am someone messaged involving the cartoon. He said this "The bad news however, was that although it is believed that 8 episodes had been complete, the truth is actually they were all animatic and were shown at a marketing roadshow, seven is still missing but it seem like someone has them as there is information available which could only come from somebody with access to them or the scripts. Enjoy the promo and episode 4." And yes he sent me me the blues brothers promo and Episode 4 "Piano Movin Blues" any ideas on how i upload this?
If it was never released, it would be difficult to get this out, especially since there are soooooooo many different licences to go through. Good luck!
