LOL the second I saw this thread topic, Babylonjosh and SASQUACTH were the first two people who came to mind.
Though that was a long time ago, and I don't know if they actually ever moved to this site from the old one.
I also immediately went to Babylonjosh, as well as the person who pretended to be a Viacom employee and used the vectors, since they (unlike most trolls) actually fooled most people for a while
I also think of people who consistently write poorly formatted articles because they refuse to learn how to format.

Oooooh man, what a legacy those two guys have.
SASQUACTH was some guy who constantly posted spam in the comment section of articles and in the ShoutMix (oh yeah I guess he did move to this site) and iirc he also started argument with some users. In addition he also falsely claimed he had found stuff or had leads in some of the current searches of the time.
Babylonjosh on the other hand was just this horrible horrible troll who was actually the reason why most of the older users in the community moved to this site in the first place. We were deep in the A Day with Spongebob search on the old site, and Josh would just non-stop post fake leads, fake finds, vandalize the article, harass a couple users consistently, start fights, hack accounts (I heard he did that anyway), spam unrelated stuff and probably much more. We ended up getting so sick of it that's when we all moved to this site and used these forums to continue the search (which at the time was mostly just mods I believe; this was like Spring 2015 I believe).
vamp1597 also brings up a solid disgrace of a user too, the fake vector guy. He was someone who came forward during, again, the Spongebob search and claimed he worked at Nick or something and had a hand in "canceling A Day with Spongebob" on account of Reagal Films """"stealing""" some vectors and using them without permission. We ended up tracing all 3 vectors to their original sources and found out he was just some kid in high school who trolled us.
Man as dumb as these thing were they're honestly really nostalgic to me looking back lol
Haven't been on here long enough to have encountered trolls, but plagiarism should take the spot. It shows that the writer of the article lacks any real basic knowledge about how to write an article.

First off, this one person who sent a death threat to one of the crew of Me and My Friends which people then misinterpreted by spreading news that anyone currently at or formerly at Nickelodeon would no longer assist the LMW in any form.
But the icing would have to be that one person who claimed to have all sorts of fake media and was eventually banned for that. Among other things - he claimed to have played a fake 32X game, he claimed to have watched a fake cartoon produced by DiC based on Sonic the Hedgehog, he claimed to have a VHS recording of the very first television broadcast in the United States (VHS wasn't around then), he claimed to have a DVD of a fake Spongebob ripoff show - but most infamously, he claimed to have film reels containing two fake "banned racist" cartoon shorts!

They couldn't remember, as in they couldn't even remember anything about the show?
Also, having a VHS or DVD or whatever copy to me doesn't automatically qualify that person as a troll, since it is possible to convert formatting to an updated player. After all, Jon Armond's copy of Cracks was on DVD and they didn't have DVD's then for sure.
The piece of paper wasn't the TV broadcast, though. It was a "tracing" of the title screen for one of the supposed racist cartoons he'd "found", which he said was created by scanning the title card (?), tracing it on his computer (??), and then printing it out (!?). Really though, the worst part about that guy was how he kept saying "I found this super rare/legendary piece of lost media but I haven't decided if I want to post it or not" or worse "I don't want to release it/say the title because it's incredibly racist".
