It was an official cast recording, which means it went on broadway. The cast specifically sang those songs for people to listen to.
They sound bootleg, but everything checks out.
Yeah, those recordings do sound rough.
Could you source your information? That might help get some more leads.
Things to Check Out: 1. Where was this performed? Where was it workshopped? 2. Can we contact cast and crew members? 3. How did those bootleg recordings go public? (This is the 1980s; pretty sure downloading music files was a royal pain back then.) 4. What companies were involved? 5. Is it available in Russia?
This is a personal list for my own reference.
I can only solve a couple.
1. It was performed in Albany.
2. Ivy Austin was the lead. She has her own website.
3. I honestly don't know. The youtube comments are all like, "OMG RAG DOLLY IS MY FAVORITE" So maybe it's not bootleg? That's the real question.
4. I searched and couldn't find much info on that.
Cry Baby Lane Yes, It was creepy but the plot had a crap twist ending
I agree but not because of the twist ending, but because it's not like it was banned or anything. It was just never aired again because nobody liked it and then there wasn't much of a struggle searching for it
Sorry you think that but im not I've looked for this show for almost 7 years i know its real it's out there somewhere it has to be I've had alot of trial and error trying to find this show maybe I'll find it maybe i won't find it but im determined to find it somehow someway.
Alright. What I said might've gotten to you in the wrong way.
What I actually meant was that you may be mixing this up with other shows, or an episode of a certain show.
We seem to have absolutely have no luck on finding anything close.
