Update on the statues on the 1961 series: On October 31, 2022, it was reported that the series will air on an upcoming "FAST channel" called "Smurfs TV", hosted internationally by OTTera through Q4 2022 (except for the United States).
Last night, I randomly stumbled upon this video of "Mary Had A Little Lamb" while searching up videos about Lambs and Sheep.
Here's the video (which appears to have edited the footage due to looping most of the animation) uploaded by jhuneo2 back in 2009.
The video doesn't have a good description and only says "Children's song" alongside misspelling Mary's name to "Marry". There's also a watermark saying "Sing Vision" on the corner. The animated movie appears to focus on a boy and girl (possibly Jack & Jill) who decides to visit the world of Mother Goose and other popular Nursery Rhymes. Alongside the universe inhabited by humans and friendly talking animals (such as pigs, geese, wolves, and bear making dolls). With Mary's Lamb wearing a blue ribbon around it's neck.
Really curious to know where footage of the animation was taken from. Despite the poor quality, the animation for the characters is surprisingly decent dating the unknown direct-to-video animated movie (or series) to the 1990s. Hope somebody in this forum can help me out (especially from people who might had seen this specific movie years ago).
Edit: Turns out it was footage from the 1997 animated adaptation of "Babes In Toyland".
Can somebody help me make out what the female lamb's name was? It's hard to make out, but I think it was "Daisy"? Also curious on who voices Simon The Lamb, the Shepard, and the Lamb who wears a green hat.
Just got done watching "Simon The Lamb" three days ago. While watching it, besides recognizing voice actors such as Kath Soucie who voices "Daisy" (it's difficult to make out her name in the video) the female lamb. I also recognized late voice actress Christine Cavanaugh who voiced the lamb with black wool, and it appears that E.G. Daily didn't voice the lamb who wears a green hat named "Albert". This could be due to the film's credits not listing which actor voiced their character. Especially since voice actors were either uncredited or only listed the main cast.
It's a bit difficult to pinpoint which voice actor provided the voice for these characters. Especially the other female lamb who wears pink ribbons, if anybody is able to recognize some of these voice actors, please let me know.
Remember the YTPMV "Robotnik's Two Great Things" that I mentioned a few pages ago. Turns out someone has reuploaded the music video and was made by Britishj Productions. Turns out the original uploader that made this video got his account hacked.
For those unfamiliar with Precious Moments' other Direct To Video short films. Here's "Timmy's Gift" from 1991. Dom Deluise voices Nicodemus the Pig in this video.
I uploaded it to Youtube, but I can always do Archive as well if you need.
Thank you so much! Feel free to upload it to Archive.org just in case. Hopefully you could do the same with the other Precious Moments' videos such as "The Story of Joseph", "Timmy's Special Delivery", "Little Sparrow", and "Who's Who at the Zoo".
For those that never seen the original comic story. Here's a screenshot from Spirou 1460" which contains the original comic from April 7, 1966. Found from cgccomics.com forum.
