When they invent time machines we'll go back in time and retroactively stop all lost media from being lost. History would then be changed in that since no media was ever lost, Dycaite never opened the wiki and we never met each other.
And there would be no point in saving the lost media because it had already been saved, leading to the media going missing again due to neglect, meaning the media would have to be saved again and again in a paradox.
Maybe we're already part of that timeline but we don't know it. Maybe Dycaite is actually from a parallel universe and he's stuck in ours due to building up speed for 10 hours with scuttlebug transportation and MAYBE WE NEED TO FIND ALL LOST MEDIA IN ONLY .5 A PRESSES OR THE UNIVERSE WILL IMPLODE.
Don't you just hate it when you post something and then realize your question/statement was answered in the original post and you just missed it. Or maybe this is just me because my reading comprehension is shit.
Ya know...............Does Physical media technically even count as Lost Media? I mean don't get me wrong. I personally think stuff like the Geno plush and the Kellytoy prototypes should be considered lost media. Though from what I've heard, this kind of thing is a touchy subject on here.
I know for a fact that physical media, at least physical versions of already found things, aren't considered lost media. I wrote an article a while back on the physical cartridge for Hong Kong '97 and it got deleted. I feel like plushies wouldn't be considered lost media though because they're not "media" like TV shows, movies, games, etc. They're just physical objects. These, however, I feel count as lost media because they have a game that you cannot play otherwise. It would be different if they were just the normal Dreamcast games in a different casing, but they're completely different games.

I think we should just have one place to go to if a certain piece of media is found, like let's say YouTube. So many channels upload an enormous amount of previously lost content, but unfortunately it's very hard to keep track of all of them. There could be days where a video gets taken down, due to copyright, privated, or simply deleted for no reason. It'll be lost again. If we can get owners of lost media videos to submit their content to the one and only LMW YouTube channel, the risk of videos getting lost again decreases significantly. LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN!
or we could just keep personal backups and upload them as needed. That would be a lot less complicated.

No, the admins have said before that if a piece of media is considered lost and THEN proven to be a hoax, then the page can still remain -- just so long as people are made aware of its fake status.
They give no sources of where they said that though, so I'd wait for an admin response to see if that's true Although this rule didn't stop them from removing the article on Stop that I posted about last month, so I'm leaning towards the article getting deleted.

Article Name:"The Tale of Dr. Rabbit" and "Play a Game with Dr. Rabbit" (Lost audiocassette, 1996) Edited?: (No) Categories:Lost Audio and Needing work Summary: I just want to point out that NEITHER of these things are lost or seemingly ever have been. They've just been obscure. They can both be found with a quick Google search. Idk where to put a statement or complaint like this, so I'm putting it in this thread ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Do as you wish with it staffers Link:http://lostmediawiki.com/%22The_Tale_of_Dr._Rabbit%22_and_%22Play_a_Game_with_Dr._Rabbit%22_(Lost_audiocassette,_1996)
I mean, I found a video called "The Tale of Dr. Rabbit" but the description is... interesting to say the least.
