After a while he disappeared, and all his vast work are long gone, and no copies were archived on the Internet Archive.
I'm asking if there's someone who possibly downloaded and archived his game music rips and can resurrect them in one way or another? It is such a treasure for us game music fanatics, and is very sad to see all of this work throwing away.
Long time ago I tried to contact him by the mail in his Google site, but got no response...
Here is the scene with the sirens from the feature version format of the series (titled "The Destruction of Troy and the Adventures of Odysseus") in Greek dub:
The episode with the hunchback boy is "An Untold Miracle", and the one with the nice old woman is "Busy Befana". They are part of 3-episode (the third being "The Wondrous Candle") anthology series "Christmas Tales from Foreign Lands", animated by artist Karen Rhine and produced by Colman Communications Corporation in 2000.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find online videos everywhere... Even the preview videos in the schoolvideos website doesn't work...
I have linked to teacher's guides PDFs of each of the episodes found in the Colman Communications website. They have a lot of information and some pictures and coloring illustrations from the episodes, but that's really about it...
My sister had her say on it and here's what we've got...
I asked her whether she remembered a little show called "Henry's Amazing Animals" with the lizard guy and she just put her hands over her mouth. "I've been looking for that for years!" she told me, surprise in her voice. "I didn't even remember the name!"
"Well," I said, "the lost media guys have found it."
She came over to my laptop and I pulled up the video Strekoza and RandyMediaTime sent me. As soon as it came on, my sister began having the nostalgia feelies. Then, as the animals filled the screen, she exclaimed, "I remember this!" and added, "I didn't think it would ever be found!" (Her memories were a lot more vivid than mine, as I don't even recall the theme song, so it's incredible you guys found this on so little evidence.)
She also commented remembering that Henry was really funny, something else that was shared with my memories. In short, my sister is absolutely ecstatic about a huge part of her childhood being found. She thanks you guys for helping!
I remember watching this show when I was around 2-3 years old. It featured a little boy and a dog. The boy looked like Caillou a bit and it aired on a obscure channel.
B U M P .
Are you still around? Could you confirm if it's "Dougie in Disguise" or the other shows people suggested here?
I have two suggestions myself, but I need you to show up...
Also, WHEN you were around 2-3 years old would be helpful : )
Last Edit: Dec 27, 2020 19:30:05 GMT by Strekoza: Typo.
It's "How It's Done" (a.k.a. "The Original How It's Done"), a series of two VHS tapes (titled "From Roller Coasters to Ice Cream" and "From Baseball Bats to Potato Chips", respectively), starring the private eye pelican detective Howie Dunn. It was originally released in 1995 by Video Treasures.
Re-releases:
You would find information and publications mentions it, but unfortunately I couldn't find an online video of it anywhere... :/
