Hmm, interesting idea! I think this could work for commercials, but I'm not sure that it's really practical for dubs. My thinking is that this would only inspire people to write even more about irrelevent dubs that nobody's ever heard of, rather than discourage it. For instance, if we merged the Spongebob dubs together into one page, I could see 4 months down the road, it would be filled with like 50 sections of nothing but "spojgebob had a dubb in kazakhstan but its lost now becuse its not in you tube UPDATE: nvm i found it :-) make sure to credit me for finding it"Imo the better option would just be to finish out what Bernie started with the dub purge - most of those dub articles cluttering up the site should have been deleted, at least going by the criteria he was using to determine relevance. I guess it's just that nobody ever got around to it (though now that I think about it, I wrote that criteria, so I'm probably biased).
Also, something to keep in mind is that it's not easy to write mega-articles without it turning into a clusterfuck. The Nickelodeon bumpers article is good (at least, since you cleaned it up), but take a look at the Cokeburst page. Is anyone actually going to read that whole thing? So I think it's definitely possible to do these for commercials and split them up like you said, just that it would be a big undertaking and require the removal of a bunch of unimportant details from the existing pages. Though that's just my two cents.
