Yeah, it seems to be Java-based. The problem is you have to get all the code and assets for it to work. I can’t get anything to load on any of my devices, and Wayback doesn’t archive it at all.

After listening to the reconstruction, yes, there are several parts not available cleanly. This reminds me of the fact that a variant of the ending credits exists for some episodes (I don't remember which) that only includes the piano and brass section (whistling can only be faintly heard, since it was probably recorded onto its own track).
I almost think there should be an Ed, Edd n Eddy miscellaneous lost media megathread at this point. It's all really small stuff, but there's so much of it.
I have all the PAL Pokémon Chronicles DVDs. I believe the eyecatches are all present. However, Pokémon Chronicles has two different themes: an original instrumental theme used for Toonami Jetstream broadcasts and an edited-down version of "Pokérap GS" with added narration used everywhere else, including these DVDs. So there may be another eyecatch using the instrumental theme, but recordings of Toonami Jetstream airings are very rare, given that it was a streaming VOD service rather than traditional television. I don't have any other than the opening theme by itself, which annoyingly has a resolution of only 328x184 and has stuff from Cartoon World (the group that recorded and encoded the pirate releases back in the day) hard-coded onto the title card.

It is the day when the Pokémon toys leave. But weirdly, the game is still up.
It may be the last day of the promotion, meaning the game will probably be up until tomorrow. It's also possible it will remain up, but we can't count on that.
I have never heard of such a thing. There was actually a SHORTENED version of it (and most other Cartoon Network themes) that aired maybe around ten years ago during reruns. I have a recording somewhere.
At this point, I really think there's nothing to this. The theme having an extended version on the CD doesn't really mean anything. DuckTales and several of the Pokémon themes (not counting the movie versions) have extended themes that were released on CDs and never played as a TV opening. And Jim Jinkins probably knows best. I kniw it's been almost 30 years since he worked on the Nick version of Doug, but he seems to hold the series really close to his heart.
Let's get this out of the way: I hate this image. It's like I have an irrational fear of it. Every time I see it, a shock goes through my body that I can physically feel. I had to use a browser extension to disable images just to enter this thread, it's so bad.
With that out of the way, I've had my own theory, bizarre as it sounds: it's Barney. No, I'm serious. Google "Barney Is the Evil Bus Driver" and look at the video thumbnail. It explains the beady eyes and the wide mouth.
I’ll set it straight for you guys. The CGI yoda was finished in Empire and Jedi - it looks horrendous. This was Lucasfilms doing. The releases were scrapped and info oppressed as the Disney sale had just initiated behind the scenes. People would have flipped out seeing what they did to poor yoda. That is why ep 4-6 will never see a release let alone a leak in this 3d special edition. This is real, not a troll.
Why would they do a CGI Yoda in the OT? The only reason they redid Yoda for TPM was because the puppet used in the original cut was widely panned. Everyone loves OT Yoda.
