I believe Flashpoint also archives video game microsites, so maybe they could help somehow.
Anyway, I never had a Nintendo 64 as a younger kid; I got one from a Craigslist seller when I was 16 or 17 (around 2009-2010), and when I finally got Donkey Kong 64, I actually really liked it (probably because I never played Banjo Kazooie before it) so I'd like to see this stuff get found.

It would be nice to record it in HD. I do get TeenNick, apparently (I specifically remember not hving it, but it's suddenly accessible now), and I have an HDMI capture card, but everything I've recorded with it lags.
I have never once watched Dr. Who, but I know enough about its history to know that this is extremely important. If anything, the BBC should give them tons of money, not prosecute them. I thought there was a long-running bounty to find old episodes or something.
I would usually say government should have a limited role in how companies operate, but this almost seems like borderline fraud. You announce to the public that you're making a movie, which actually gets made, and you tell everyone working on it their work will be shown off to the public, and then you just hide it and take back some money. It would be one thing if you decided the finished product wasn't good enough for theaters and changed your marketing strategy to make it direct to video or something, but this just make it seem like the whole project was completed under a lie.
I would also encourage everyone to read up on the 1994 movie The Fantastic Four, which was also withheld in a shady, underhanded way, the difference being they merely made the movie to extend their Fantastic Four film license in case they actually wanted to make a high quality big budget movie based on it.

There's a MySpleen torrent with the title "A Bad Day For Michael Richards (Seinfailures; 2006) DVD-R"
The description is:
* A Bad Day for Michael Richards - DVDR comp of news reports pertaining to the racially insensitive comments made by Richards during a standup performance. Includes actual cell phone video of the comments.
It's dead, though (it's 9 years old; there are actually torrents that old and older than that still alive and well, but this one garnered little attention, it seems), and...it's not subject matter I'm particularly comfortable with anyway.
I didn't really think this belonged in Off-topic, but it didn't really seem to fit anywhere else. I've bought quite a few tapes off of eBay of Kids' WB recordings, in hopes of preserving as much Pokémon media as possible. They contained some promos and stuff I've never seen anywhere else. Some of these I've already ripped and shared here, but most is still not digitized.
Anyway, last winter, I realized at some point that some of them were right on top of my bedroom's floor vent. Most were in a cardboard box, but some were loose. Hot air was blowing directly on to the tape itself for some of them. It really freaked me out and I moved them, but I was afraid it was too late. To this day, I haven't checked them, mostly out of fear that they're badly damaged. For all I know, I may have had the last remaining copy of some of the content on them. What are my chances of recovering the video?
australia, went down for me now though today. was it archived when it was still up?
Like I said earlier, the people at the Flashpoint Discord have archived all assets from the English and Portuguese localizations, though they haven't yet put them all together so that the game works. Other languages have not necessarily been archived, though it appears the individual assets are still live, provided you follow a direct link (e.g. this Czech .json).
So they're doing this for a $30 million tax write-off, which is less than half the amount they spent making the movie. I was under the impression you run a company to make money, not to lose it.
The latest is that the English and Portuguese versions of the game are fully archived. Their priority seems to be getting the game to work rather than archiving other languages.
The "complete ride footage" is on MySpleen, and I actually downloaded it years ago, but I never watched it and the computer is long gone. I'm attempting to redownload now. The guy who uploaded it allegedly worked on the ride, so this could be promizing.
Yes! I've seen the complete ride footage! it's great!
