I like to believe that Dead End exists in some form. Whether it is as great as it is said to be is a different story. I love low budget horror films from the 80s, and this movie sounds right up my alley.
Fill in the uninformed fellow weeb, what the Hell is "Hitogata"?
I did a search and all it showed was this green haired chick I have on a book mark, so if I have some kind of lost media let me know!
ok, so Hitogata was a Japanese commercial and people think it was shown in schools as a psa, or a commercial that aired late at night. ever since then recreations have showed up, but its not the real thing. it was first mentioned all the way back in 2004, on the website 2channel (the japanese version of 4chan?) some people call it a urban legend. it was about two, white figures standing on what seems like a train track and then one of the stick figures start fading. then a text reads "Every two seconds, someone dies on the Earth" the search has went on for a decade and its still going on to this day.

Hmm that sounds familiar, I either saw something about that or read about it or something, had no idea it was called "Hitogata".
Which brings me to the question, how is the green haired tsunere girl on my book mark associated with it?

I'm amazed that you guys managed to find a lot of these to seemingly actually exist, whereas I am here just having Space Cats keep boggling my mind in how a search effort for it led to a HUGE bunch of weird, websites with no sources listed, so it's a guessing game on what information is legitimate, & what information is actually false.
Meanwhile you guys actually managed to put your cases down just enough so that it seems likely that they do exist thanks to many common themes surrounding the many cases of people who have heard, or seen it. I'm out of words, you guys have done harder work on those than what I've done with Space Cats, either that, or not a single website out there has any sort of accurate episode guide, & the found episodes are also the only episodes of the series confirmed to exist.

I watched like every episode of Space Cats, so I could explain the entire series if it helps. In fact I should check out the page and see what I could add, because I have a fairly deep knowledge of the series.

The crazy shit about Space Cats, I literally can recall individual episodes, I think, even though no physical evidence for this show exists! I'm genuinely shocked, I asumed this stuff was just widely known and existed everywhere, it never occurred to me that this was all some kind of rare lost media.

Dang, you can!? Jeez, you are one lucky memory container!
