Your reply is incredibly vague and I have absolutely no idea which part of my quote you're replying to, but if I had to guess I'd say you maybe contacted Frank about it.
Not a big deal, but he definitely won't have any information for us. I didn't know he was so adamantly against it; his posts from 2009 gave me a totally different impression.

Well I mean I've been trying to bump this thread to the top of the board so that more people see it and can get interested in it, but unfortunately it seems to be a niche topic that almost no one has an ongoing interest in.
Even if tracking down people is too hard, that comment from the other day about the translation thing makes a lot of sense, so there's a possibility someone else might find a game even more closely resembling "Yeah Yeah Beebiss".
At this point it pretty much is me just infodumping to myself but hopefully at some point we'll get a solid search going.
Because while this seems like a goose chase for nothing, it's been brought up in discussion on many other websites and is arguably the highest tier of video game mystery, so not only would I like closure but it'd be pretty cool to inform others about this once we find the truth.

Really odd. Why do the people with all the answers hate lost media?!
What kind of response did you get from him? Yeah, it's just such an ongoing thing that people could potentially help find lost media, or at least give insight on it, but can't be bothered by us plebs in the slightest.
I think a lot of people are interested in this, but what more can we say?
♪ Good day, good day, I'm glad you came my way... ♪
The first time I asked him if he had any insight/theories and he simply said "it was just a funny typo".
Then I showed him that comment from the other day about the translation and he's like "I don't buy it, that game was correctly advertised elsewhere".
So at this point I just assume he's not interested or doesn't understand the info. But it sucks because apparently he's a super reliable/knowledgable person and the only key figure I could find who mentioned Beebiss at all.
Otherwise it's just a waiting game to find some other translation error thing, or someone else with more knowledge (super unlikely), or a connection to Funco/Play It Again.

I think the biggest issue with getting a search going is that they're aren't really any promising leads as of right now. I've been super interested in Beebis since I first got into lost media (~2 years ago?) but I haven't posted in this thread yet because there doesn't seem to be any leads I can help with, and all of the personal digging I've done had resulted in a big pile of nothing. If a lead pops up I'd be happy to lend a hand, and if I find anything myself I'll be sure to post it here.
So I checked out the article comments right after I posted the above, and there was actually a new comment there which I think is important enough to discuss.
"Rai Rai! Baby Kyonshi no Amida Daibōken (来来! ベビーキョンシーのあみだ大冒険)
Like the raw translations of other jap-only games in the list(Zeta Gundam, Fist of the north Star), it's the only possible title.
Rai Rai = Yeah Yeah ベビ ー = Bebi 1 (not a ichi symbol, but very similar, someone fast translating manually would do this mistake)"
So essentially this comment is saying that Yeah Yeah Beebiss I was a translation error from a Japanese only Famicom Power Pad game.
I checked out the Rai Rai part and while it's not a direct "Yeah Yeah", I could see it being interpenetrated as that. The Bebi comes from "Baby", and like he said, the 1 isn't a 1 but could be mistaken for that.
I have to say that so far, this is the most believable translation error theory for Beebiss I've come across, (and I still don't think the game is a typo for a non-existent game/is a non-existent game).
I like this theory!
The title translates more as: Jianghi of China - Baby Jiangshi's Great Buddha Adventure "Lai-Lai" is a typical sound used by the Japanese to describe a stereotypical view of classic Chinese culture. (if I am not mistaken)
Well just like Clock Man is the spiritual successor to Cracks, I feel like this is the spiritual successor to Ready N Steady, so there is hope of this being found, spiritually that is .
Maybe this is just a prototype sitting in someone's basement and they "knew someone" who could put it on a games list just to get the name out there; unlikely, but you never know!
Someone out there knows the story, but they don't know we want to know.
This is a prime example of why lost media is so great; why do people create creepypasta's and get off on them when there are real-life mysteries out there like this?
At this point, I really just believe this was unmade/cancelled game that was just promoted prematurely. Remember, since it's name was in bold typeface, that signifies it was not released yet.
So best case, in a few years someone posts of video on YouTube of them playing the prototype cart or something.

I have analyzed the Play it Again ads to find a potential way to contact the company, and I have 2 leads. Comment if youre intrested and want to help me contact a certain company! Thanks-thebeebissguy
I think he's referring to if any soul is brave enough to a. call the phone number and b. mail the addresses on the ads; it's worth a shot, though I can't help but be reminded of AVGN's Wally Bear episode (which actually worked!):
