'Bizonyos Joslatok' is a Hungarian stop motion/live action Sci-Fi short directed by Otto Foky. I first read about it in the book 'Sci-Fi Now' at age eight and have been trying to find it for many years now. I've found others looking for it too, as it was shown on the the U.S. children's show 'Curiosity Shop' in the early seventies. Information is pretty scarce, and it seems likely that the tv screening was the only exposure outside of Hungary. In all my searching only one still from the film appears online, and it's the same pic from the book mentioned above. I had read that the tapes of 'Curiosity Shop' had been wiped, and was starting to wonder if that meant that 'Bizonyos Joslatok' was lost also. Then a few weeks ago I searched again, and I found this page www.premiercafe.hu/programok/valogatas-magyar-animacios-film-tortenetebol/ . So if anyone else has been looking for this film, it still exists, and was screened last year. Any ideas on how to get a copy?

Search for the films title and add dvd or vhs after it. Might turn up a copy. Does Hungary have any private sales sites like ebay? Or find somebody involved with the film and if they have a way to contact them send a message. Also search if it was released in other countries and what title it was possibly translated to and released under in said country.
