Back in 2000 cartoon network release a new site called cartoon orbit, it was a gaming and activity site hub. With it they launched gtoons a trading card/pog style trading card system. You could get some rare ones from promotion and show them off in a showroom style deal. I remember visiting a lot of showrooms showing off a lot of rare ones. You could even battle with them. Saddly cartoon orbit shut down in 2006 and with it every ones collections and even all the games on the site. Now there is still a small fan base for gToons, there is a even a fan site recreating gToons with more modern toons called collectoons but the original site and all its glory is lost. Now I make this post with realistic expectations as I know better than to think someone just has a random copy of the site just sitting on a hard drive but you never know someone here or in the future might come across this post and know someone with a backup of the site who worked on it. But for now it was just some fond memorys of back during peak cartoon network.

Anyone remember the fake movie posters they had on there? The only two I remember were the Utonium's Angels one with the PPG, (parodying the Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle teaser poster) and Revenge of the (I think) Morons with Billy and Mandy.
There was a revival site I used to play a bit years ago called "CollecToons" that included an arcade to play flash versions of Space Invaders and Duck Hunt. That site has since fallen off the face of the earth for some weird reason. If you used that site as well, let me know why it's gone. Might make an entire thread about it sometime.

Oh my god I REMEMBER COLLECTOONS! Too bad I joined before it closed down
