The other day I was remembering a browser game that i played as a kid (around 2008-2011), it was related to the Speed Racer Movie that released about that time. I used to visit sites related to the movie at the time because I was really into it, one of those sites was a browser game, (that I can't identify if it was either Flash or some other format),it consisted on a pseudo 3D game, that used 2d sprites, it had a typical racer game view, where you controled the Mach 5 on an endless track, where you passed by others cars, you could use the ablities of the buttons of the steering wheel, the backgrounds were really vibrant in terms of colors, there were hot air balloons on the sky, that you would pass a couple of times, there were also mountains on the very back of the landscape, also on the top of the screen, I remember seeing the mirror cars have to see what cars are behind, but I'm not entirely sure.
Another thing to point out, was that the page with this game, was a different one from the official page from the movie.
In terms of music, I vividly remember having a style, similar to Launch Base Zone, from Sonic 3 ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2_xx1Xv-qU ), specially the "Go" samples, and general instrumentation.
I'll leave a ruff mockup of what I remember seeing.
Now recently, when I tried to look for this game again, I cound't find it anywhere, not even on the Speed Racer Site on the Wayback Machine. I tried to Google for it, but nothing that I could recognize came up, even tried looking on the Lost Media Wiki itself, but I couldn't find anything either.
Anyways, I was wondering if anybody here remembers or has heard of this game too, regardless I was really hoping I could find this game again. Thanks in advance!
