I remember watching it back in daycare and i think place in the middle ages and i can't if the main character had a buck tooth and was turned back into a human at the end by a princess or peasent.

Must be Cinar's "The Real Story of Rain Rain Go Away" (a.k.a. "The Prince's Rain" when broadcast as part of "HBO Storybook Musicals").

Unfortuantely, I couldn't find a video or any preview of it :/ But perhaps you familiar with the VHS cover/pictures on the back?

Are you 100% sure about it? The character looks more-or-less as you described:

It is a musical, set in the middle ages, he turns into a tree (just a pity I can't find any video to show you...), and in the end a princess turns him back to normal...

If it's still not it, could you remember any more details?
