I remember watching a live action kids show (or series of shorts) on VHS in the mid 2000s. I don’t know the title for sure, but it was something like ‘the magic costume box/chest’. My own research for these keywords hasn’t been successful so far.
The episodes had the same format: a couple of kids would go down into a small room with a costume chest (I believe a mirror was attached to the inside of the lid), and pull out a piece of clothing or part of a costume. Then, the show would transition into kids acting out a story related to that item. These stories were mostly fairy tales and similar stories; one was a retelling of the three little pigs, another was about a spider in a forest, and one took place in a cornfield.
I don’t think there was much, if any, dialogue in the show. It’s likely narration or music was used to tell the story.
I appreciate the response! I don’t believe this is it, as I remember the chest definitely being inside a room and the show seeming to be newer (from the 80s at least).
