Hi folks! Im new to this wiki, I just wanted to ask about some music video i watched years ago, so if this isnt the right place/forum to ask let me know!
So a long time a go I was watching MTV with my dad, around 2003-2005 ish. I cant remember what year, just within that timeframe. My dad was really into rock music and metal, and watching music videos with him are fond memories from my childhood. Anyways, I remember watching a music video of Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. It was different from the official music video, though. It was completely animated in claymation/stop motion, and the main characters were anthropomorphic cats, i believe. I was around 3-5 years old, so i cant remember every detail. It was about a group of cats dressed in human clothes, set inside a bar in a forest. All i remember is one cat looking inside the bar from the window outside, a chase scene (?), and in the end one cat dies, i think turning into stone or just stabbed, but im not sure. I havent been able to find this music video again, and even when I asked my dad he couldn’t recall, so either its super obscure or I completely fabricated the memory. Its hard to say, lol.
Anyways, if anyone can help me remember this or even find it for me I’d love that. Some details might be wrong, like the song or the program it was aired on. Thanks again!
I know that for some of MTV’s Christmas promos (in the UK anyway), they’ve made short parody versions of Christmas songs, but with dogs replacing the humans in the videos. For example there’s one of “Fairytale of New York” that has Shane McGowan as a Bulldog, and another of “Stay Another Day”, with a band of dogs replacing East-17.
