Back in probably the 1980s or 1990s, there was a Lifetime Made for TV movie about a boy named Bobby who hated his parents so much he wanted to kill them. In one scene he went so far as to point a rifle at his parents but didn't fire it and carry out the murders he fantasized about.
Bobby ran away from home, and ran into this couple, the guy telling bobby he could have relations with his woman, if bobby would take off all of his clothes, which, bobby stupidly did, then the couple walked off with Bobby's clothes, leaving him nude in the middle of nowhere, and of course, he did not have relations with the guy's girl.
The film seemed to be balyhooed with a goood bit of advance promotion the reason I watched it, but found it uninteresting, but did remember it using the hoary old song, The Big Rock Candy Mountains, and I remember the song being played at the end of the film.
I did a lot of searching thru Lifetime Made for TV films of the 1980s and 1990s and never could find the film.
Since it used the song, The Big Rock Candy Mountains, I wondered if that could have been the tiutle of the film but came up empty with net searches for that title of a film.
Anybody who could positively identify this film so I could watch it all the way thru all these years later, and determine if it was really any good, and read some critics' and fans' reviews of the film?

I've done quite a few net searches on "The Big Rock Candy Mountains" song, and films i was used in, and have come up with no Lifetime made for TV film.
This situaion shows me just how I Done Lived Too Long, and too many years, and too many decades have passed, for me.
Lifetime TV has been in existence and gone thru so many changes, that from all the net searches I have done the late 1980s and early 1990s are no Ancient History with that cable TV Network, and the listings I can find are at best "Best of" lists, which might include the late 1980s to early 1990s, the years I am looking for, and at worst Lifetime Made for TV movies of the past 10 years.
As much as I dread saying it, I am afraid that the only thing I can do in my search for this film is to just go back to Lifetime schedules from say, 1987 earliest, thru 1996, latest, and find a likely title.
And, that is a lot of hard work that I just don't know if it would be worth the time and effort, since This Long Disease My Life, is rapidly coming to an end.
Probably better, more profitable and enjoyable uses for what time I have left in this Vale of Tears than looking for that film.
I had High Hopes for IMDB, but so far, none of my searches of that message board have produced any results.
