Hello, I've never posted here before so let me know if I'm missing something from my post.
Around 2007-2008 America Online (AOL) and developer Sarbakan made a series of 3 games, as of now none of them are fully playable.
First one is flash game "FireChild: Born Into the Fire" which is a 2D platformer, you can find it pretty much anywhere but only the first level is playable after which you're greeted by a black screen. I've visited the website via the Wayback Machine and found that the version on the game archived is the same one found on the internet (black screen and all). I've also tried to decompile the .swf but there aren't any files that aren't displayed on the game itself and I'm not very knowledgeable on the Flash format anyway.
Second is a 3D platformer "FireChild", the game consisted of 5 "episodes" all playable via the WildTangent Web Plugin. I've installed this plugin on an XP machine but the game never starts which leads me to believe the files needed weren't archived (or the plugin is faulty).
Third and last is an arena FPS called "FireChild: Tournament of the Ancients". The installer can be found in some sites, and the game appears to run on XP however there is no option to run a local server so the game is unplayable. I do not have the technical knowledge to create a private server for this game.
This was my summary of the situation with these 3 games, there's also two videos in the website which I couldn't access and I think some downloadable content on the News section but I haven't looked into it yet. In case you want some footage of the games running the only I could find are these:
