So I was browsing the forums and something jogged my memory of a movie I watched a long time ago. All I remember is that it was similar-ish to something like toy story. Toys came to life on or before Christmas, I don't really remember, and the movie seemed to be live action. I can't know exactly when the movie was made, since a lot of movies I watched where second hand VHS or DVD's from thrift stores. I specifically remember there being an evil doll character, a princess or ballerina of sorts, who wanted all the attention from her owner. I can't remember much else, but there may have been some other doll characters and a robot toy? I'm unsure. All I know is that it was probably live action with stop motion segments. My memories of this movie are hazy, but now that I've remembered it I'm really curious to what it is. Does anyone know what this might be? (I know for a fact that it is not Toy Story)
This actually made smth come to mind Did one of the main characters happen to be a tiger?? And do u remember if there was some sort of concept of something bad happening it their owners saw them alive, like their soul would die or something like that This sounds extremely familiar
When researching this film, the 1986 TV movie The Christmas Toy kept popping up. It is a Jim Henson movie that does have a toy tiger in it and a doll that is the new favorite toy of their owner. If the toys are caught out of position by a person, they are frozen forever. The premise does sound similar to Toy Story. Is this maybe the movie you were thinking of?

Sounds like "The Christmas Toy", a special that was unfortunately butchered on home media because Disney In case it's not that special, care to explain more on this "lost" special like what year it came out?, who aired it?, who made it? and stuff like that

Was it live-action? Because I remember a movie like that. I don't remeber what it was called, I remember that if they toys were caught by adults, they would become immanent (basically die). I don't remember if it had anything to do with Christmas or not. I haven't seen it in years. I was actually thinking about making a thread about it lol.

That actually sounds familiar! Do you have any more memories of it?

It may have aired on the Hub. Also, it may have been a made-for-TV movie, but that's all I remember. Do you want to talk somewhere else so the two of us could find it? Its kinda funny how we are trying to find potentially the same media.
