I made an account just to talk about this, and it's currently pending, so I am just here as a guest for now.
I remember I used to love going on Nick.com and playing all the SpongeBob flash games when I was really little, maybe before I could even read that well, and I still remember one in particular. The game in question being Spongebob's big adventures. The game was removed sometime around 2011 (if I'm correct) and was replaced with a now easily accessible sequel "Spongebobs next big adventures" I have a very specific memory of not being able to access the original game and being pretty upset by it, but when seeing the sequel game I was fine with it and just played that. The sequel is pretty much the same game as the original if I'm correct in my research, (memories of gameplay are jumbled together in my mind and I can't really know which memory is from which game, keep in mind I was pretty young when playing these) it just added some new locations like glove universe. As for the gameplay style, it was a pretty basic point and click adventure game. (With added mini-games?) I remember there being a fry-cook minigame in at least one version of it that I would play over and over. This might be in the sequel, but there was also a mini-game involving sandy's tree dome? And a quest with Patrick? I don't really know, my memories are foggy, but I was hoping someone here would know of the game and possibly know where I can find it.
The game's files are still available on the website under the nick.com/games/data/spongebob/spongebobs-big-adventures/ directory (the main SWFs are game.swf and game2.swf). However, Fetching the files may be difficult because both SWFs don't seem to function correctly in their current state and the Wayback Machine, which held archived links to many of the game's assets, has mysteriously blocked directory searching inside nick.com/games/data/. So yes, the game indeed still exists, but it might take a lot of work to get everything working again.

Thank you for the information! I'm glad to hear that the game still exists but it's sad that I probably won't be able to play it. I was hoping that maybe the game had been put on some other flash game website and that's what I'm still hoping for. Regardless, thank you!
